Relax along the friendly road of Hastings Street which lies at the rear of the sheltered Laguna Bay. Hastings Street is Noosa’s hub for beachside lodging, trendy outlets, sophisticated cafes and alfresco restaurants. Along this extensive road, you can have a taste of Noosa’s enticing cuisine or buy a unique Noosa memorabilia.

 

Also check out the Noosa National Park which is the best spot to see koalas and other native wildlife. Noosa National Park covers 4000 hectares of rainforests, shoreline, and hinterland. Noosa likewise offers a variety of lookouts where you can get a chance to whale watch somewhere between the months of July and November. You can explore more of Noosa’s native flora and bird species by visiting some of the parks and gardens surrounding the area.

 

Noosa’s main beach is one of the few east coast beaches that face the north. This favorable location has made the main beach popular for family swimming and surfing beginners. The dazzling Noosa River which is part of the chain of wetlands extending towards Noosa Everglades is an ideal spot for canoeing and sailing. Noosa is also blessed with abundant lakes which are home to various species of marine life.

 

Noosa has a variety of observation points on its mountain tops which offer spectacular vistas of the town and its surrounds.
